Storyline:
One of the best web series in the thriller category. Good acting. Gripping story. I really loved the plot. It is just like a normal cat and mouse game. I think deliberately they did little negative shadow for Madhavan’s character. And it is up to the viewer to which side we have to take. Because the hero here is evil but doing for someone he loves a lot. But no unnecessary drama included glorifying what he is doing.
I really loved that part. And on the other side, Amit Sadh is doing the inspector role. I think that role is inspired by one of the Malayalam movie characters Sam Alex (done by Prithviraj) from the movie memories. Because the story of both the officers is almost the same (yes there are some changes they did deliberately). Anyway, so far it is thrilling. And even the story is also somewhat similar to Memories.
I don’t see why people are calling it brilliant. There are multiple flaws in the premise everywhere. First, you show a commissioner who’s supposedly strict and then in another episode he becomes highly concerned about everything under the sun, purely meant as a plot mechanism to further Amit Sadh’s solitary mission (Kabir), useless characters that add no value other than showing some perversion of vibratory or visual urges or showing some corruption that is quickly forgotten(cop from the first episode} due to the organ donor murders. Madhavan who is shown as a very smart guy somehow didn’t see the end coming or never even had a backup for the same when he’s had backups for every other plan.
I could live with a master backup plan like killing everyone and maybe crippling Kabir in the end but him getting caught is not plausible especially since we spent 7 episodes seeing him as an over-smart Alec. Overcompensation of guilt by praying at every instance possible doesn’t work for me. I’m a big fan of Madhavan and Amit Sadh’s gives a good performance as the clichéd drunken cop (done to death in a zillion movies) but the subject matter was so weird and bland that I was very disappointed at the end of the series.
